Dangaladima Resumes Duty As Area Comptroller Kano/Jigawa Customs Area Command

Sambo Dangadadima has resumed duty as the new Area Comptroller of Kano/Jigawa Customs Area Command, with a promise to ensure trade facilitation.

His new posting followed the latest redeployment of Customs Area Comptrollers by the Comptroller-General of the NIgeria Customs Service (NCS), Col. Hameed Ali (rtd).

Dangaladima, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, hails from Bagudo, Kebbi state.

According to a press statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Saidu Abudulahi, the newly redeployed area controller is a seasoned customs officer with a vast experience having served in various units and commands all over the country.

Dangaladima in his maiden address to officers of the command, said the CAC disclosed that the Command is poised to conduct its assigned responsibilities with discipline at all levels and also ensure border security and seamless facilitation of legitimate trade, in tandem with the executive order on the ease of doing business.

The CAC further assured that he will serve assiduously while increasing cooperation, collaboration, coordination and harmonious working relationships with all other sister security agencies and other relevant stakeholders.

The CAC finally thanked the Customs CG and the entire management team for the opportunity to serve even as he restated his commitment to execute the core mandate of the Service by enforcing the policies of the Federal Government.
