From Shuaibu Zubair Tatu, Birnin Kebbi

The Senate Committee Chairman on Works, Muhammad Adamu Aliero has described the recent Supreme Court Judgement affirming his Senatorial candidacy for Kebbi Central a victory to democracy and the rule of law

Aliero stated this in an interview with Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, he said despite the intra party deferences that took them to court PDP in Kebbi State still remained an indivisible political party because all the gray areas have been resolved.

“Our focus now is to win elections scheduled for this and next month. The hardships Nigerians are going through as a result of APC misrule are mind touching and unacceptable in the Twenty First century.” He said

He further added that “When voted into power PDP will restore the past glory of our nation, alleviate poverty amongst the people, dismantle security challenges and strengthen democratic values”.

Aliero therefore called on PDP supporters in the State to distance themselves from political and electoral violence because such actions were capable of destroying the image of the Party already cruising to victory.

Senator  stated that several deceitful plans have been hatched by other political parties in the name of employment hence warned the party faithfuls not to part with their PVCs while collecting the palliatives as doing so will dangerously disenfrachise them.

He said with the track records of his achievements as a former Governor and a serving Senator he will sweep the polls come February the Twenty-Fifth
