Young professionals appreciate Nigerians for electing Tinubu

Association of Young Professionals of Nigeria has thanked Nigerians for voting and electing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All-progressive Congress in 2023 general election.

The in a statement released by its National Coordinator, Pastor John Desmond on Wednesday, congratulated Nigerians for a electing a true Democrat and advocate of democracy in Nigeria as President-elect in the February 25 general election.

Pastor Desmond said that the president elect is among the father of the present democratic dispensation having fought for enthronement of Democracy for Nigeria from the frontline.

“Asiwaju is an experienced leader and we believed God would use him to hasten the development of Nigeria” Pastor Desmond stated.

He urged the president elect to use his position to breed a new political network across Nigeria in order to restore our unity and lost glory.

He thanks Nigerians who believed in President-elect, entrusted him with their mandate and supported him to victory during the election

He urged the president elect to make job creation, entrepreneur and SMEs development and local content development priority of his administration.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, had on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in Abuja, declared Tinubu winner of the election with 8,794,726 votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 6,984,520, and Obi polled 6,101,533.
