GPMI congratulates COAS for successful unavailing parade, Army colours

… assures of continual support

Global Peace Movement International, UK has congratulates the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt. Gen. Faruk Yahaya on the successful unavailing of the parade and Army unit Colours by President Muhammadu Buhari.

President General of the group, Dr. Mike Uyi in a statement on Friday in London said the Chief of Army Staff has demonstrated high level of professionalism in piloting the affairs of the Nigerian Army and such required to to be commended.

In the wake of insecurity were some international communities were attacking our Army, the coming of Faruk Yahaya proved them wrong as the present crop of our soldiers are executing their duties professionally.

“The coming of Faruk Yahaya as the COAS has changed the nagative narratives about the Nigerian Army to a more professional Army that can stand any other in the comity of international nations in the world”.

“We can’t but continue encourage the Army especially the leadership for the transformations in all it’s organisation especially in the area of welfare packages for the troops in operations across the country”.

“We at GPMI will continue to support the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Faruk Yahaya and all other officers who are making him succeed. And we are assuring the COAS and his officers that Nigerians in diaspora are solidly behind him and will continue to support his good works”.

Uyi calls on Nigerias in respective of tribe and religion to come together to support the Nigerian Army in the fight against all the criminal elements doing all they can to bring down the country.

He also calls on president elect Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu to also consider continuetion of the service chiefs so as to stabilize the security architecture which is already stabilizing the country.

“The security sector of Nigeria is not just a ministry of government that can be toiled with with carelessness. The new administration should consider the service chiefs tenure elongation to continue the good works they are doing without making too much noise.

” These service chiefs have shown capacity as they are going about their duties professionally without making too much noise. The new administration should see this as a matter of importance in their agenda. They doing well and they deserve high commendation”
