The mother of the Federal Capital Territory Commissioner National Population Commission, Ladi Shazhin is dead.
She died yesterday in her hometown in Kwali Area Council after a brief illness.
Sympathisers who trooped in to commiserate with the family, encouraged them to look up to God and bear the loss.
The FCT National population commission office led by its territorial director Alhaji Zakari Ya’u who described the demise of Ladi as a great loss.
He urged the family members to bear the loss and takee it as an act of God as every human must go through death.
Responding, the FCT federal commissioner National population commission Mr Joseph Shazin thanked the commission management for the visit.
He said that he will live to remember Mama for her humility and her advise always as a mother.
Late Ladi was survived by her two sons Mr. Joseph Shazin kwali and his brother Mr. Zaka Shazin kwali a retired customs officer.
She died at the age of 96 and has since been buried according to Christian rites in Kwali.
