*Swears-in 21 Special Assistants

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Hon.Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has said he is prepared and equipped to tackle all the security challenges in Ebonyi state.
The governor also used the opportunity to swear-in 21 Special Assistants and Senior Special Assistants, among others.
The event took place at the new Government House, Centenary city, Abakaliki and was witnessed by APC stalwarts, founding fathers, friends and well wishers.
Governor Nwifuru also charged the new appointees to be committed and discharge their duties efficiently as he will hold them responsible for security issues in the state.
“I am delighted this afternoon for the swearing-in of the new appointees.
“I am aware of the challenges in the state, but we are well equipped to tackle all of them. I solicit for your patience and support.
“I have been confronted with alot of challenges more especially security issues which I know will soon be things of the past.
“As SAs on security, you are in charge of security issues in your area.I will hold you responsible for any security bridges.
“The appointment of other principal officers will come within the week and swearing in is on Monday.
Responding unbehalf of other appointees, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor, Hon. Felix Okemini promised to ensure security of lives and properties in the state and to justify the confidence reposed on them.
