The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Department of State Services, National Headquarters in a press statement said Bawa arrived a few hours ago.
He said the invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him.
Bawa was suspended from office in a Press Statement from the Office of Secretary to Government of the Federation(OSGF) Wednesday night.

Director, Information, OSGF, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved the indefinite suspension from office of Bawa to allow for proper investigation into his conduct while in office.
“This follows weighty allegations of abuse of office levelled against him,” the OSGF said.
