Benue State Governor, Rev Fr. Hyacinth Alia has felicitated with all Teachers across the State, Country and across the World on the special occasion of World Teachers’ Day.
A press statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, and made available to The AUTHORITY newspaper, Gov. Alia describes Teachers as dedicated educators.
Gov. Alia noted that, “teachers play a crucial role in shaping the minds of students, imparting knowledge, and fostering personal and intellectual growth”.
The statement further said that, “the commitment and passion of teachers towards their profession help illuminate the path to wisdom, learning, and a brighter future for generations to come”.
“Let us take a moment to express our gratitude and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of teachers everywhere. They play a pivotal role in shaping not only academic growth but also the character development of their students”, Gov. Alia said.
The governor stressed that, “your unwavering commitment to excellence ensures that each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Thank you, teachers, for your tireless efforts in making the world a better place through education,”.
Gov. Alia promised that, “my administration will continue to create an environment where teachers are respected and valued, their welfare will continue to be made a priority by the current administration to enable you to excel in your vital role of building a stronger, more prosperous, and more inclusive society for the future”.
