The Onyize of Ebiraland, Dr Ramatu Tijjani has congratulated Alhaji Ahmed Anaje on his emergence as the new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.
The governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello had announced the appointment of Anaje on Monday, alongside other traditional rulers.
In a congratulatory message, the Onyize, Dr Aliyu describing the new Ohinoyi as a man of character, said his appointment didn’t come as a surprise.
“On behalf of myself and my family, I specially extend my hearty congratulations to our new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ahmed Tijani Anaje.
“Over the years, you have distinguished yourself in all your pursuits—the reason why your emergence does not come as a surprise, but as a square peg in a square hole,” she said.
She expressed optimism that the new Ohinoyi would lead Ebira people on the path of greatness, while praying for his guidance.
The Onyize said, “I am optimistic that your new role is only but another opportunity to lead our people with a progressive mindset that will transform Ebiraland in all its facets.
“My prayer is that the Almighty will guide and protect you, and your leadership will foster unity, love and greater development for the good of the people of Ebiraland.”
