The Ikemba Front has hailed the decision of senator representing Anambra-South District, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, to run for the 2025 Anambra state governorship election.
The group described the decision as a “brilliant move that is in line with the wishes of the people of Anambra state.”
The group insisted that the Senator was the only one that could rescue the state from the clutches of insecurity, lack of direction and under development the administration of Gov Charles Soludo plunged it into.
The National Coordinator of the group, Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, who disclosed this in a communique issue to journalists during a media chat, said that Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah will win the 2025 Anambra state governorship polls because he is the choice of the people of Anambra State.
He said that Ikemba Front is fully structured across the three Senatorial zones of the state to mobilize support for the emergence of Sen Ubah who will be flying the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag.
The group has therefore urged all the progressives in the state to queue behind the aspirations and vision of Sen. Ubah in order to steady the ship of the state and to bring about simultaneous development of all sectors in the state.
Sir Awogu who also spoke about the new found grassroots acceptance, the APC, as a political party now enjoys in the state, said that the entry of Sen. Ubah into APC made it possible.
“The ovation is loudest in Anambra APC today because of Sen. Ubah, and its crescendo will snowball into APC victory in 2025 Anambra state governorship election,” he stated.
