Stakeholders in Kaduna have commended the Kaduna State Government under Senator Uba Sani for upgrading schools in the state.
Educational experts, while speaking after an interactive session on “Nigeria and the challenges of Curricullum Development” in Sabon Gari Local Government, noted that the current administration in the State has embarked on reforms with amazing speed.
Hajiya Rabi Haruna, one of the Stakeholders, said Governor Uba Sani has broken new grounds in advancing educational development in the state.
Malam Rabiu Yunusa, the Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Education revealed that the administration of Governor Sani, in its first phase of upscaling educational infrastructure according to current needs, has, “in less than a year, built 2,336 new classrooms; renovated 707 classrooms; equipped numerous schools with 3,704 teachers furniture and 30,742 pupils furniture; dug 51 hand pump boreholes; and provided 918 cubicle toilets for easy convenience.”
Mr Joshua Dangana, who introduced himself as a researcher working on a compendium he titled ” Compendium on Uba Sani’s Education Revolution in Kaduna also commented on some projects. “Some of the ongoing projects in Kaduna today are the provision of 247,136 school bags; 290,802 school uniforms; 247,136 shoes; 3,358 tablets; and 447,689 exercise books”, he said.
