Members of Ahiazu Patriotic Front(APF), a coalition of professionals in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area, have congratulated Amb. Chief Okwu Nwandu as he celebrates his birthday today.
In a press statement issued after their caucus meeting this afternoon in Umuevu Okrika Nweke, Ekwerazu, the group described the young Chief as a leader who has demonstrated inclusiveness and exemplary philanthropy.
According to the interim executive secretary of the organisation, Mr Emmanuel Dialla, Ambassador Okwu has positively touched many lives in Ahiazu as a giver without boundaries.
Mr Dialla said, “We have gathered here today to celebrate him because he has demonstrated an unquantifiable capacity to empower the needy in society. He has given cash donations to more than thirty sons and daughters of Ahiazu to start their own businesses.
”He has given out several cars, provided shelter for many and empowered several widows across the LGA. Recently, we gathered that he spent millions of naira making efforts to restore peace in APC in Ahiazu and rally support for the administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
”Okwu is a leader that symbolises unity, and we will continue to rally around him”.
The Executive Secretary prayed that God would continue to guide and protect Chief Nwandu and his family and prosper him.
Members of APF later went into a closed-door meeting which will be followed by a party in honour of Chief Okwu hosted at Mr. Dialla’s residence.
