Kebbi Govt. approves construction of 3km Wasagu-Tudun Bichi road

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris has approved the construction of 3 kilometres road from Wasagu to Tudun Bichi village in Danko Wasagu Local Government Area of the state.

He disclosed this on Friday when he paid an official visit to the village to sympathise with the villagers over bandits’ attack in the area recently.

The governor promised to ensure deployment of more security personnel to the area to beef up security of lives and property. 

“My administration will do everything possible to protect the lives and property of citizenry. As a government, we will not tolerate any form of criminality or breach of peace,” he said.

While describing security as a responsibility of all, the governor urged the people to support the security operatives with credible intelligence to enable them effectively discharge their constitutional responsibility. 

Responding, the Village Head of Tudun Bichi, Alhaji Muhammad Mika’ilu thanked the governor for the visit and assured total support to Kauran Gwandu led-administration.

“We are highly appreciative of your efforts in reducing the high rate of banditry in the area. However, we are still requesting for more deployment of security personnel to the area,” he pleaded.

Our corresponded reported that on Thursday Bandits attacked and killed 7 farmers in farm  in the Tudun-Bichi village  which Governor Idris promised last solution .
