Edo: PDP postpones inauguration of National Campaign Council

The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has announced an indefinite postponement of the inauguration of the Edo State Governorship Election National Campaign Council earlier scheduled to hold today (Tuesday)

The part in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary,bHon. Debo Ologunagba on Monday explained that the postponement is due to the industrial action embarked upon by Labour Unions in the country.

The party said that a new date for the inauguration will be communicated in due course.

The PDP charged all members of the Campaign Council, Party leaders, critical stakeholders, it’s teeming members and supporters in Edo State and across the nation to continue in their unrelenting efforts towards the success of the Party and it’s governorship candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo in the September 21, 2024 Governorship Election in Edo State.
The party recently constituted constituted a 145 national camping council led by Adamawa State governor, Umaru Fintri.
