2024 civil service week commences with juma’at prayer

The 2024 Civil Service Week kicks off on Friday, 14th June, 2024 with a Juma’at Prayer at the National Mosque, Abuja.

This year’s theme is “Educate an African Fit for the 21st Century: Building Resilient Education Systems for Increased Access to Inclusive, Lifelong, Quality and Relevant Learning in Africa.”

A statement by Muhammad A. Ahmed,
Director, Communications said that other activities lined up for the weeklong celebration are slated for Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th, Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June, 2024.

“They are a Virtual Interactive Session with Civil Servants, Parley with Media Executives, Public Service Lecture and Public Presentation of a Civil Service Culture Handbook, Commissioning of FISH Housing Estate at Gwagwalada, Sports and Aerobics, Award and Gala Night and finally, an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service, respectively.

“The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR is hereby inviting Civil-Public Servants, stakeholders, the media, as well as the general public to join in the celebrations. All events will be streamed live on the OHCSF’s social media platforms.”
