The Alaigbo Development Foundation(ADF) has concluded plans to elect new National officers of the foundation who will take over from Professor Uzodinma led executive on Saturday,June 29th.
An affiliate of the foundation which operates under the aegis of ‘ADF-Youth League’, disclosed this iin a press statement it issued in Enugu,stating thereafter the new ADF national officials will be inaugurated during the 10th ADF anniversary celebration which holds at Umuahia,Abia state in July.
Part of the press statement signed by Comrade Osita Chukwuagbanarinam and Chidiebere Onwudiwe, in their capacity as acting chairman and secretary of ,ADF Youth league reads, “It should be noted that the authentic ADF election into the executive committee is scheduled for the 29th of June,2024,at the ADF secretariat in Enugu. This election will duly elect new executives who will be inaugurated during the 10th Anniversary.
” The ADF Abia state chapter has dissociated itself from the so- called reference by Abia Onyike and has withdraen all it’s sponsored candidates,meaning the current leadership,(Nwala and his team)remains in place untill the upcoming election”.
The ADF Youth league cautioned that it would not tolerate plots by detractors to take over leadership of ADF unjustly.
It stated,”The ADF Youth League condemns any attempt to make the Igbo Nation a subject of ridicule. We will not tolerate any coup plotting as a means of changing leadership within the ADF or the Igbo Nation at large.”
