President Bola Tinubu departs Abuja today (Monday) for a trip to France, the presidency announced on Sunday night.
A statement issued by presidential media adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, described the trip as a “brief work stay”.
No specific details were given as reasons for the trip or exact day of return.
According to Ngelale: “President Bola Tinubu will embark on a trip to France on Monday, August 19, departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital.
“The President will return to the country after his brief work stay in France”, said the statement.
This comes amid the anxiety over the French court judgement seizing Nigeria’s presidential jets in favour ofba suit filed by a Chinese firm concerning a disputed contract with Ogun State government.
