The PDP in Kwara state has been commended for its support to small scale farmers among its members through the provision of herbicides and fertilizers.
The party chairman in Kwara North senatorial district, Hon Ndako Pkada, in a statement issued in Ilorin said that the necessary supports given to the party members by the state PDP will make it easy for the beneficiaries to fully earn the reward of the growing season.
He noted that what the party has done has also shown the priority of given welfare to it members while regards the provision of fertilizers to them as ‘a felicitous intervention’.
He then commended the state PDP under Alhaji Tunde Mohammed’s leadership for providing the needed support for the farmers, noting that this will go a long way to ease things for the beneficiaries.
The PDP chieftain also extols Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s leadership qualities while commending him for remaining an altruistic person.
“A friend in need, is a friend indeed, the party leaders have shown his kindness once again and made it known to all that they value our members and will always look into our welfare”he said.
“This is a felicitous intervention cognizant of the current economic challenges or rather the food inflation been faced by Nigerians.”
Kpada added that, the donation is a good step in the right direction and I commend our leaders for doing this despite that we are not the ruling party either at the state or the federal level.
“I urge the beneficiaries to put the fertilizers to good use while our party members in the state should continue to take steps to strengthen our party and we pray that comes 2027 Kwara PDP will take control of the state.
