Judiciary upholds democracy: Asama’s win stands in Plateau State

Hon. Daniel Asama, a member of the House of Representatives, has welcomed the Appeal Court’s judgment affirming his victory in the Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency bye-election.

The Court of Appeal in Abuja upheld the National Assembly Election Tribunal’s judgment, declaring Asama of the Labour Party (LP) the winner of the election.

Asama expressed gratitude to God, his constituents, and the people of Plateau State for their support. He praised the Judiciary for upholding justice and the people’s will.

The lawmaker dedicated his victory to God and the people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout the journey.

Asama commended the Judiciary for demonstrating its commitment to justice and upholding the people’s will. He described the victory as a testament to the power of democracy and the rule of law.

The lawmaker thanked Plateau State Governor, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, for his support and commitment to upholding democratic values. He appreciated the Governor’s leadership and dedication to respecting the people’s will.

Asama expressed his commitment to serving the people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency and working towards their betterment. He also thanked his legal team for their hard work and expertise.

Finally, Asama called on his opponent to acknowledge God’s will and join him in moving the Federal Constituency forward.
