Igbo clergies elect new executives in Abuja

World Igbo Clergies Association (WICA), a non denominational body has recently elected new officers to pilot its affairs.

The election which was conducted at the All Saints Charismatic Revival Ministry, Life Camp in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had Rev Chukwudi Umahi, Professor Jidejisos Josiah – Ejie, Rev Felix Nwali and Apostle Agukwe as President, Vice President, General Secretary and National Publicity Secretary and the Media respectively.

The positions of National Treasurer, Director for Development, Financial Secretary and National Director, WICA National and international went to Apostle Benjamin Miracle, Bishop Solomon Anyanwu, Pastor Ileh Innocent Okechukwu and Reverend Jerry Chukwudozie respectively.

While Apostle Ohad Godfrey, was elected to the position of National Director for Security, Programs and Protocol, Prophet Special Ezekiel was elected to the position of National Director for Intercession, Evangelism and Interdenominational Relations.

Recall that WICA serves as a spiritual voice for the unity and development of the Igbo land, Ndi Igbo and global advancement of God’s Kingdom and the spiritual exercise produced array of tested men of God with leadership acumen.

Speaking after the election, chairman of the National Election Committee, Rev Innocent Oguh charged the new executives to be true torch bearers and exemplary ambassadors of Jesus Christ and the Igbo race.

Similarly, one of WICA’s elders, Bishop Amadi enjoined them and association’s members to work in love and unity, which if done, according to him will make them achieve the group’s vision.

Accepting the positions on behalf of the officers, the President thanked the association for electing them and assured them of a fruitful tenure.

The occasion equally featured songs of praises to God and special prayers for Nigerian and Ndigbo in particular.
