Chief Ogbodo being handed PDP flag by Governor Mbah.l

The National Youth leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worlwide, Comrade Wencelaus Ogbonnia, has beckoned on the electorate in Nkanu West local government to vote for Chief John Chukwuma Ogbodo, as the next chairman of the council area.
The Enugu state council election is coming up on Saturday, 21st September. Chief John Ogbodo won the PDP primaries in Nkanu West local government area and was among the 17 PDP chairmanship candidates, handed over the flags of the party at a crowded event held at Okpara square on Wednesday, 18th September.
In a press statement made available to The Authority in Enugu, the Ohanaeze Youth leader extolled the
leadership skills of Chief Ogbodo in public service, stating that the elective position as again presented an opportunity for him to demonstrate his leadership qualities.
Comrade Ogbonnia said the good people of Nkanu West is about to witness another transformational leadership, stressing that Chief Ogbodo,the PDP candidate is grounded with the grassroots.
Comrade Ogbonnia stated, “While we appreciate, His Excellency, Barr Peter Mba, for reposing his confidence on John Ogbodo to deliver the vision of his Government, it is our collective quest that Ndi Nkanu West, will reciprocate the Governor’s kind gesture in ensuring the final victory of Chukwuma Ogbodo”.
The Ohanaeze Youth leader stressed that as a one time Secretary to the Local Government, John Ogbodo, is sufficiently experienced in the Local Government bureaucratic policies and having subsequently excelled as the Deputy Chairman, he is the most experienced to be voted in as the next chairman of the council.
“Despite, his numerous feats as a public servant, Ogbodo remains somewhat under the radar, yet his track record of unbroken service to his people shows that he is a Man in hurry to deliver the good dividends of democracy to Ndi Nkanu West “.
He assured that Chief Ogbodo will come up with programmes that will enhance Youth Empowerment, continuity and sustainable development of Nkanu West Council area.
Comrade Ogbonnia stated further. “Finally, as we gear up for the forthcoming local government polls, it is expected that we the great people of Nkanu West shall put all hands on deck until the final victory is secured, in total solidarity to our performing Governor, His Excellency Barr Peter Mbah”.
