Adamawa South: Sen. Binos lists priorities

The Senator representing Southern Senatorial zone of Adamawa State, in the National Assembly, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe has reiterated his commitment to fulfil his campaign promises to the people of his constituent.

Speaking during a Town Hall meeting in Numan, he said the Saturday commencement of the meeting in Numan is beginning of Town Hall meetings that will take place in all the nine local government council in his zone.

He noted that he would to revisit an existing Bill at the National Assembly which was passed to established school of Geological Sciences in Guyuk and School of Forestry in Toungo.

According to him “no matter the political undertone of why the bill was initiated by the former Senator, he will revisit it and make sure that the bill becomes a law for the institutions to be established in the two Local Government areas”.

Stressing that, his representation will empower youths and women of the zone on a skills acquisitions program the senator disclosed that arrangements have been concluded with experts to train them on various skills that will make them self independent.

While addressing the gathering at the meeting, the Senator promised to use his four years terms to sponsor 300 University students through a well design scholarship program for the less privileged constituents.

He reminded them that work will soon commence on the Numan-Jalingo road in collaboration with his colleague representing Taraba North, Sen Isa Lau, who he a said he is working in synergy with, to see that the federal government work on the drafted report already given to mobilised the construction company to continue work on the dilapidated road.
