Three vehicles burnt as fire guts Pinnacle filling station Enugu

A branch of Pinnacle filling station located along Agbani road, Enugu, was early this morning gutted by fire.

Before the combined efforts of fire fighters from the state and federal fire service stations could put off the fire, three vehicles which were on the queue to purchase fuel from the station were partly gutted by the fire.

The Enugu state police command confirmed the incident, stating that no life was lost.

A press statement signed by the Enugu state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Dan Ndukwe said that the State Commissioner of Police,CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the state CID to carry out a detailed investigation that will reveal the cause of the fire incident.

The Enugu state Governor Dr Peter Mbah was the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Pinnacle Oil Ltd,a position he resigned to join the 2023 governorship race of Enugu state.
