The Executive Director of Hope Ambassadors for Peace in Africa Initiative (HAPAI), Frank Chinedu, said it has offered to collaborate with the United Nations (UN) in area of humanitarian services.

He disclosed this during the celebration of the yearly UN day in Abuja on Thursday, even as he appreciated the United Nations on this year’s United Nations Day Celebrations.

Chinedu said: “HAPAI is an NGO with its Head Office in Abuja, but with a Global reach and mandate. It is the goal of the Organization to partner with the United Nations and other relevant National and International Humanitarian Organizations to actualize its core mandate and mission of achieving a peaceful society as well as bringing hope and succor to the less-privileged in our societies.

“It is with great joy that we join the whole world to celebrate the achievements of the UN, especially its humanitarian interventions which it carries out via its charity-based Organizations such as: the United Nations Foundation, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Children’s Support Fund (UNICEF).

“We, as a NGO will continue to stand by and support the UN now and in the future and also seek meaningful collaborations and partnerships. Happy United Nations Day.”

The United Nation’s International Day is celebrated on the 24th October annually worldwide. But HAPAI with its operational headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital city and a global reach observed that the 2024 celebration is really significant as it highlights the several achievements of the organization in curbing numerous global challenges and intervening in several humanitarian crises.
