HRM Florence Okonkwo, the celebrated author, actress, and producer, captivated the hearts of Londoners with a grand 3-part event at the Greenwich Odeon Cinema, featuring the much-anticipated premiere of The Passion and Temptation of Queen Cleopatra, the launch of her insightful new book “When The Spark is Gone: A Guide to Reigniting Passion in Struggling Relationships”, and her own birthday celebration.

The evening’s highlight, the premiere of The Passion and Temptation of Queen Cleopatra, directed by award-winning filmmaker Frank Ikegwuonu, explored the rich cultural narratives of Africa while addressing the contentious issue of stolen artifacts. The film, featuring talents from Nollywood and Hollywood, including Lucien Morgan, Uche Odoputa,Chiella Sco,Dr Micheal Chukwujeku,Ranti Nwosu,Blessing Olubanjo;Diana Omagufi and Mabel Elabor captivated the audience, promising to ignite discussions on African heritage and cultural preservation.
HRM Okonkwo also introduced her new book, When The Spark is Gone: A Guide to Reigniting Passion in Struggling Relationships, an empowering guide designed to help couples rediscover intimacy and joy. “I believe many of our societal challenges stem from relationship issues,” HRM Okonkwo shared. “This book is my humble contribution toward building stronger, healthier connections in families and communities.”
Other highlights of the night at the Odeon include the release of other new titles by the author and her publishing company, Elegantflix Limited. These include “Exploring Coding As A Newbie”, the cookbook, “54 Flavors of Africa” and the riveting novel, “Through The Storm”.
