The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has set its sights on a year of significant progress and development following its victory in the 2024 governorship election as Hon. Comrade Fred Enaikhe Aleburu, an APC stalwart and Convener of Neighbor 2 Neighbor for MODEN, has called on party members and the people of Edo State to rally behind Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo to ensure the full realization of his 5-Point Agenda.
In a New Year message to the APC family, Aleburu highlighted the importance of unity and collective action in fulfilling the promises made during the election campaign.
He described the party’s 2024 victory as a historic milestone, emphasizing that the true test of leadership lies in delivering on the commitments made to the people.
“We have achieved a great victory, but this is only the beginning,” Aleburu stated. “The promises we made to the people of Edo State must be fulfilled. Our goal is not just to deliver on infrastructure, healthcare, education, and youth empowerment, but to build a legacy of prosperity and transformation for future generations.”
Aleburu particularly stressed the need for unwavering support for Governor Okpebholo, whose 5-Point Agenda includes critical focus areas such as infrastructure development, healthcare reforms, educational enhancement, economic growth, and youth empowerment.
According to Aleburu, this agenda is a blueprint for progress that requires the collective effort of all stakeholders.
“The governor must be supported in every possible way to achieve all the promises made to our people, including his visionary 5-Point Agenda,” Aleburu urged. “Our united efforts will ensure that Edo State achieves sustainable growth, inclusive development, and long-lasting prosperity.”
As the Convener of Neighbor 2 Neighbor for MODEN, Aleburu emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization in engaging with citizens and ensuring that governance is participatory and impactful.
He called on APC members to maintain their proactive approach and remain focused on achieving the party’s goals.
“2025 is a year to prove that the APC is a party of action and results. We must show the people of Edo State that we can deliver on every promise made during our campaigns,” he said.
Aleburu concluded by appealing for inclusivity and collaboration, urging citizens across political divides to join hands with the government in building a better Edo State.
He expressed confidence that with strong leadership and collective resolve, 2025 would be a year of unprecedented achievements for the state.
With the APC’s vision and Governor Okpebholo’s leadership, Edo State is poised for a transformative year that will bring progress and prosperity to its people.
