Governor Uba Sani has intensified efforts to unlock massive agro-financing opportunities for Kaduna State following a strategic engagement with the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The meeting centered on accelerating the takeoff of the Special Agro-Processing Zone (SAP-Z)—a game-changing initiative that will provide modern infrastructure, expand markets for farmers, and drive value-addition in Kaduna’s agricultural sector. The AfDB-backed initiative is set to attract major investments, ensuring better financing access for agribusinesses and smallholder farmers.
With improved funding, infrastructure, and security around the SAP-Z, Kaduna is positioning itself as a hub for agro-industrial growth.
Governor Sani also used the opportunity to extend warm birthday wishes to Dr. Adesina on his 65th anniversary.
