The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has expressed its unwavering support for the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio. At a dinner organized by Senator Akpabio in honor of elders and leaders from the south-south region, Chairman of the Forum, Ambassador Godknows Igali, reaffirmed their backing, saying: “Forget about the sponsored news making the rounds about you and your office, but be rest assured that we are strongly behind you.”
Ambassador Igali emphasized the importance of discussing regional issues with President Bola Tinubu, stating, “We are here today because there is a need for us to discuss with the President of this country on issues that affect us as a region.” He expressed satisfaction with the President’s receptive attitude, noting that he “was very pleased and took time to listen to all our requests and promised to act on them.”
Akpabio assured the leaders that the Niger Delta region is solidly behind him. In response, he thanked them for dining with him and pledged to continue making the zone proud by supporting President Tinubu’s administration in making life better for Nigerians.
