Afrobeats superstar Nigerian DJ, humanitarian, and social activist Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as Cuppy, just keeps breaking limits, using her influence to impact society for good. The Cuppy Foundation 2024 Report is one year of monumental achievements, from speaking up about causes for education and healthcare to setting alight some of the world’s biggest stages.
Cuppy’s humanitarian activities extend far beyond music. She was a driving force at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in 2024, advocating on the issues of youth empowerment and education across the globe. Her commitment to bringing about social change was also honored at Buckingham Palace, where she was recognized for her philanthropy and community development work.
At the heart of the Cuppy Foundation is a vision to give young Africans access to opportunity, predominantly through education. Already established is a Hardship Fund at Oxford University and New York University, but Cuppy also unveiled a new Hardship Fund at King’s College London to support economically disadvantaged African students wanting to pursue higher education in the UK. This initiative aims to ease economic difficulties caused by the cost of living, such that no student is forced out of school by financial constraint.

Through Save the Children, the foundation has ongoing provided medical care, learning materials, and nutrition services to children in Northern Nigeria, which is a region most hit by humanitarian crises. The interventions have worked to improve child welfare, health, and access to quality education and health services directly.
