In a historic move, Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, Member representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, Anambra State, has officially defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
During the National Assembly Plenary Session within the week, Hon. Nnabuife was warmly welcomed by APGA leaders and fellow lawmakers, marking a significant milestone in her political journey, just as she assured her constituents that her decision to defect was not driven by personal ambition, but rather by a desire to find the best platform to serve them better. She emphasized that her passion, dedication, and vision for Orumba North and South remain unwavering, despite her change in party affiliation.
By joining APGA, Hon. Nnabuife aligns herself with the transformational agenda of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, whose administration has achieved notable strides in Anambra State. Some of these achievements include: Recruitment of 5,000 teachers and plans to hire 3,000 more to improve education quality; The ‘One Youth, Two Skills’ program, which has provided ₦2 billion in seed capital to empower 5,000 young entrepreneurs and; Construction of five new hospitals, enhancing access to quality healthcare.
Princess Chinwe Nnabuife urged her constituents, supporters, and stakeholders to embrace this transition and join hands in the collective pursuit of progress and prosperity. With APGA, she is confident that together, they can achieve greater heights and ensure a brighter future for all.
