The Kebbi state Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has joined other world leaders to felicitate with President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to felicitate with him on the occasion of his 73rd birthday day Anniversary.
Governor Idris believed that President Tinubu’s birthday anniversary celebration was worth celebrating by Nigerians committed to entrenchment and sustainance of democracy in the country.
In a congratulatory message signed by his special adviser on communication and strategy, Alhaji Abdullahi Idris Saudakin Zuru, Comrade Governor described the President as a beacon of hope, bridge builder and unifier who selflessly committed his life, energy, resources and political influence in championing the struggle for one indivisible Nigeria under a democratic governance in accordance with international best practices.
He explained that President Tinubu’s struggle for democratic governance since his youthful age through different pro- democracy forces,has resulted to the return of democratic rule in the country and his eventual emergence as elected Lagos state Governor and subsequently, president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the platform of great party, the All Progressive Party, (APC).
“Undoubtedly, your foot print of remarkable development witnessed in Lagos state during your tenure remains indelible while your overhauled of the nation’s sources of internally generated revenue was miraculous.
“Your emergence as president at that critical time of our nationhood has reawaken our hope for a better politically advanced and democractically matured nation.
“Your Excellency Sir, the government and people of Kebbi State joyfully celebrate you for laying a solid foundation for our country’s political and socio-economic development of our country. “
While wishing the President many more returns in sound health, Comrade Nasir Idris assured him of unflinching support, unalloyed loyalty and total confidence in his capacity and commitment to ensuring peace, unity and sustainable development in all sectors of human endeavour.
