The Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, CP Ajao Saka Adewale. Coinciding with Hon. Obika’s birthday, the visit featured an empowerment program for widows of late police officers, showcasing the lawmaker’s commitment to supporting security personnel and their families.
Obika congratulated CP Adewale on his appointment and expressed optimism about enhanced security collaboration under his leadership. He emphasized fostering strong community-police relations to boost safety in AMAC/Bwari and the broader FCT. He therefore launched an empowerment program for wives of deceased police officers, providing essential resources and financial support.
Hon. Chinedu Joshua Obika however pledged to include the beneficiaries in his 2025 empowerment program, reaffirming his dedication to addressing the welfare of security personnel’s families.
