The Managing Director, Mr Ekenedilichukwu Nwannebuike Nwoke, told newsmen that the variety of activities l packaged for the Easter holidays include Masquerade Festival on Saturday, April 26, Cultural dances and traditional fashion competition.
He said the aim is a way of letting people to value the Igbo culture and a source of entertainment.
“As usual La TRANQUILO will provide the usual African and Continental dishes, the night club and comfortable rooms for guests. In addition, we are going the extra miles to initiate unique ideas that will bring leisure in people’s life,and enlightenment and knowledge of our tradition through entertainment.
“It is time we expose and add value to our culture for global reckoning and economic growth,Mr Nwoke said.
“It is not all about money. We must have to expose who we are and what we have,for the global world to know us and appreciate us.
‘It is a legacy we have to impact on our children.Culture is a way of life and can ginger socio economic and human empowerment of the people”.
Mr Nwoke said the idea of establishing La TRANQUILO center and other of his businesses to ACHI is to contribute his quota in gradual Development of his home town Achi, in line with Governor Peter Mbah,’rs quest for rural development.
La TRANQUILO hotel which situated directly opposite the proposed ‘Ozudaa’I nternational market,Achi will be a very good asset to traders from distant towns and across the border with comfortable accommodation to stay and transact their businesses for a number of days it takes comfortably.
Mr Nwoke tasked other private entrepreneurs from Achi and Oji River generally,to him home by relocating of their business to ACHI their home town.
He expressed gratitude to famous personalities and entrepreneurs from Achi,who impacted and gingered socio economic of the town in times past.
He mentioned them to include Senator Dr Hyde Onuaguluchi, late Senator Dr Sydney Mgbejiofor,Late Prof Humphrey Adibe,Late Chief B C.Okwu and late Engr.Dr Peter Aniochonam.
Others include HRH,Igwe Chima Achiekwelu, HRH, Igwe Godwin Madu,Mr Sunday Nwoke,Chief Benjamin Ozoadibe and Dr Okey Ibeabuchi.
He congratulated the local government chairman,Hon.Greg.Anyaegbudike, Member representing Oji River Constituency in the State House of Assembly,Hon.Osita Eze for their efforts in enhancing socio economic of Oji River local government.
