Community Secondary School, Nkpologwu, Aguata Local Government Area, Anambra State, has expressed deep gratitude to Senator Uche Ekwunife for reconstructing the school’s main hall. The project has been described as a life-saving intervention for both staff and students, according to an interview granted journalists on Wednesday by the school’s Principal Mrs Fidelia Okolie and mad available to media houses.

The school hall was previously in a dire condition, with no roof and significant damage, rendering it unusable. However, thanks to Senator Ekwunife’s intervention, the hall has been transformed into a functional and safe space for students.

The renovated hall is currently being used as the only venue for the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), highlighting the timely nature of the intervention. The school’s Principal Mrs. Fidelia Okolie noted that without the renovation, the exams would have been severely disrupted.

Despite not returning to the Senate following the last election, Senator Ekwunife saw the project through to completion, a gesture that has further endeared her to the school community. Mrs. Okolie praised the senator’s commitment to the school’s needs, saying that she prioritized the project and ensured its completion despite the challenges she faced.

The renovated hall has become a hub for school and community events. A recent Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) meeting held in the facility was met with overwhelming joy and praise for Senator Ekwunife. The school community has prayed for her success, expressing gratitude for her selfless service.

Senator Uche Ekwunife, who represented Anambra Central in the 9th Senate, is currently the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Anambra elections. Her commitment to improving the lives of her constituents has earned her widespread recognition and admiration.
