Senators’ wives condole with Hajia Laila Barau over mother’s passing

The Senators’ Wives Association of Nigeria (SEWAN) has extended heartfelt condolences to Hajia Laila Barau, wife of Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, following the death of her mother, Mrs. Nelda Mohammed. In a statement signed by SEWAN President Dr. Unoma Godswill Akpabio, the association described the loss as “irreparable” and prayed for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace.

“We, the Senators’ Wives Association of Nigeria, extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved mother. This irreparable loss undoubtedly brings immense grief to you and your family. We also commiserate with the Deputy Senate President, Distinguished Senator Jibrin Barau, and the entire family over her demise and pray for her soul to rest in the bosom of the Lord.”

The association prayed for Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdaus and offered solidarity, sharing in the family’s sorrow and providing deepest sympathies during this difficult time [1].
