The Acting National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon. Nafiu Bala, has promised to reinforce the party’s structures in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
Addressing journalists in Abuja on Monday, Bala said his administration would prioritise building resilient party institutions, entrenching internal democracy, and promoting inclusivity.
“I am deeply honoured to accept your endorsement as Acting National Chairman of the ADC,” Bala told the audience, which included members of the Board of Trustees (BOT), the National Executive Committee (NEC), state chairpersons, and the party’s 2023 governorship candidates.
He noted that the ADC would focus on crafting policies, executing resolutions, and forging strategic alliances with individuals and organisations willing to collaborate.
Bala emphasised that unity and cooperation were essential to achieving the party’s goals and securing a brighter future for Nigerians.
“I will lead this party with integrity, wisdom, and dedication. Together, we will build a stronger, more united, and more prosperous political organisation,” he said.
The ADC helmsman praised stakeholders for their trust, pledging to work closely with them to strengthen the grassroots ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Calling for joint effort, Bala urged, “Let us work together to achieve our party’s vision and contribute to the progress of our dear nation.”
