Senate President Godswill Akpabio has expressed sadness over the passing of Chief Audu Ogbeh, former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and ex-PDP Chair. Akpabio described Ogbeh as a distinguished Nigerian who lived a life of service and integrity.
In a press release from Hon Eseme Eyiboh, Special Adviser on Media to the President of Senate over the weekend,
Akpabio praised Ogbeh’s contributions to agriculture, rural development, and nation-building.
He described Ogbeh as an “intellectual store house” with a legacy of service and dedication to Nigeria.
Akpabio extended condolences to Ogbeh’s family, friends, and the people of Benue State.
He prayed for the family’s strength during this difficult time and for Ogbeh’s soul to find eternal rest.
