HAVAS Africa has expanded its global merged media agency’s presence in West Africa with the launch of HAVAS Red Nigeria, further strengthening its position across the continent.
It had earlier expanded into South Africa in October 2023, Côte d’Ivoire in April 2024, and Kenya in July 2025.
HAVAS Red is the company’s global public relations, social and influencer agency micro-network renowned for its merged media model. It integrates earned, social, experiential and content to help brands and businesses meet the people and audiences they want to reach in meaningful ways.
With today’s announcement regarding Nigeria, Red will have a presence in 23 markets, including Australia, China, Côte d’Ivoire, France, Germany, Greece, Italy and Kenya. Others are the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Philippines, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, Ukraine, United States and Vietnam.
The Global Chief Executive Officer of HAVAS Red, James Wright, stated that expanding into Nigeria was a pivotal step in the company’s continued growth across Africa.
According to Wright, who is also the Global Chairman of HAVAS PR Network, “with a strong local team led by Dare Oyegbola, HAVAS Red Nigeria is ideally positioned to bring our merged media model to life for clients in one of the continent’s most dynamic and creative economies.”
A HAVAS leader for six years, Oyegbola, who is the managing director of HAVAS Red Nigeria, brings over a decade of experience across advertising, experiential, production and communications, and has a reputation for building lasting client partnerships and delivering work that drives both cultural relevance and business results.
