The Seyi Tinubu City Boy Movement, Taraba State chapter, has described alignment of Governor Agbu Kefas with the All Progressives Congress (APC) as another step that will bring more dividends of democracy to the people.
In a statement issued by the state director, Prince Sanusi Galadima, on Tuesday, said the well attended ceremony was a show of unity and political maturity by APC members and residents of the state during the governor’s reception.
It explained that the defection is an indication that the state was ready to align with the federal government and benefit fully from the Nigeria’s progressive future.
The City Boy Movement also commended President Bola Tinubu for what it termed visionary leadership, crediting him with reshaping Nigeria’s political landscape under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The statement reads,”“What Taraba witnessed was not a ceremony—it was a declaration. A declaration that the people have chosen progress over stagnation, hope over hesitation, and unity over division.
“We salute the Renewed Hope Commander, Bola Tinubu, whose courageous and visionary leadership has reshaped the political landscape of Nigeria,”
Galadima said Kefas’ entry into the APC would translate into stronger federal presence, accelerated development, and expanded economic opportunities for Taraba State.
“This alignment opens the door for real dividends of democracy and positions Taraba State as a major stakeholder in the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“The City Boy Movement hereby declares its total commitment to the APC project in Taraba State,” he said. “We stand ready to mobilise the grassroots, energise the youth, and defend progressive governance at all levels,” he said.
