The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 14, Katsina and Kaduna, AIG Shehu Umar Nadada has charged officers and men of the Kaduna State Police Command to sustain the tempo in the fight against crime and criminality in the state.
Speaking when he paid an inspection tour to the command, AIG Nadada further charged the personnel to remain professional in the discharge of their duties, shun corruption, maintain discipline, and strictly adhere to the principles of Social Media Policing.
He said, “I want to congratulate the Commissioner of Police for the notable successes recorded so far and also charge officers to remain professional in the discharge of their duties, shun corruption, maintain discipline, and strictly adhere to the principles of Social Media Policing.
“I urge you to sustain the tempo in the fight against crime and criminality across the state. This visit underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force leadership to effective supervision, professionalism and improved service delivery in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police IGP Kayodr Adeolu Egbetokun.”
In his welcome address, the Commissioner of Police applauded the AIG, describing the visit as timely and symbolic and highlighted several achievements recorded by the command.
He reechoed that the command remains resolute in its mandate to protect lives and property as well as uphold the rule of law.
