The Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Ismaila Isah, has unveiled a summary of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s performance during his first two years in office as Chief Servant of the state.
The update appears in the eighth edition of the Lugard House Monthly Newsletter, a publication of the Office of the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, and has been described as a timely reflection of two years of purposeful leadership under Governor Ododo.
Hon. Isah explained that Volume 8 opens the year with a review of achievements recorded across critical sectors, while also setting the direction for the next phase of governance in the state.
According to him, the newsletter chronicles the Governor’s leadership trajectory, highlighting policy implementation, institutional strengthening and results recorded in infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, sound economic management and governance reforms.
The Special Adviser said the publication presents governance through verifiable evidence, outlining projects delivered, reforms maintained and systems reinforced, thereby laying the groundwork for the administration’s next two years.
“It lays out the journey in clear, sharp perspectives of projects started, work completed and systems that defines leadership in a state buoyed by renewed hope; marked by roads connecting communities, public buildings breeding efficiency in governance, health facilities promoting wellbeing and schools shaping the future of generations.”
He also highlighted the importance of collaboration, noting that the Office of the Kogi State First Lady features prominently for its social interventions, which have complemented government policies and expanded their impact on communities, women, children and other vulnerable groups.
Hon. Isah said the first edition of the newsletter for the year serves both as a progress report and a sign of continuity, reaffirming the administration’s dedication to steady development and inclusive growth.
He added that the publication aligns with the Governor’s commitment to transparency and accountability, ensuring citizens remain informed about government activities as the administration continues to fulfil its mandate.
