Ahead of 2027 general elections in Nigeria, Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC),has conducted ward Congresses adjudged to be peaceful and orderly across the 171 wards in Ebonyi State.
Speaking during the ward Congress in Abakaliki,the APC chairmanship candidate for Abakaliki LGA,Hon.Chidiebere Alo expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the ward Congress, describing it as peaceful and orderly.He noted that based on his observations,the ward Congress is free and fair as all contestants are happy with the smooth conduct and peaceful environment.
He appreciated governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for changing the narrative in Ebonyi State and for the human oriented government that has impacted positively on the lives of Ebonyi people.
Our party gave us mandate to conduct the APC ward Congress. I observed that the election is free and fair, and everything is moving accordingly. The environment is peaceful and orderly.All the contestants are happy with the outcome of the Congress. As you can see,APC is a peaceful party.In Ebonyi State,our leaders are trying to reposition the party better than every other political parties.I want to appreciate governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his leadership ingenuity and human oriented administration experienced in Ebonyi State.

Earlier in his address,the State Chairman of APC in Ebonyi State,Hon.Stanley Okoroemegha said the party leadership is well prepared for the Congress and to ensure a peaceful outing at the end of the exercise.He noted that APC activities in Ebonyi is a family affairs, that is always peaceful, Free and fair.
On her part,the chairman of Board and LGA Congress in Ebonyi State,Barr.Rita Mmadu Agwu, said:The ward Congress is awesome and peaceful in Ebonyi State.So far so good. I want to sincerely commend governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for the wonderful work he is doing in Ebonyi State.”
Some stakeholders like Hon.Nkwede Emeka,Igwe Samuel ,Chidi Nwite from Izzi Unughu ward 10 ,Azuinyiudene ward 8, Azugwu ward 4, among others expressed joy over the Congress.
