Management warns public against fraudulent Ado Bayero Mall listings

From John Silas

The owners and management of Ado Bayero Mall, Kano, have debunked as untrue and misleading the reports that the facility is up for sale.

In a statement, the General Manager of the mall, David Okpanachi, disclosed that the management has not appointed any agent or representative to market the mall.

According to the statement, claims by unauthorised online communications suggesting that the mall was being offered for sale are false. It added that the owners have not appointed any agent or representative to market the mall, and that no discussion or negotiation regarding a sale is underway.

Okpanachi added that Ado Bayero Mall remains a key retail destination on Zoo Road, Kano, “operating optimally and serving the shopping, leisure and lifestyle needs of residents and visitors. Operations remain stable; the owners continue to focus on providing a secure and high-quality environment for tenants, customers and the wider community.”

The statement advised members of the public, investors and business partners to exercise caution and refrain from any individual or entity claiming to represent a sale of the mall, as such representations are unauthorised and constitute fraudulent activity.

It stated that all official information regarding Ado Bayero Mall would be communicated directly by its management and owners through verified channels only.
