The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Christopher Maikalangu, has approved the appointment of Dangana Jimiko as the new Managing Director of the AMAC Investment and Property Development Company (AMAC-IPDC).
This is contained in a statement issued on Monday by Kingsley Madaki,Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs to the chairman.
It also said the Chairman has removed Mr. Tanko Atuwa from the position of Managing Director due to a strategic effort to realign the council’s investment with its core objectives.
The statement reads, “AMAC remains focused on; boosting Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), and reducing dependence on external funding. Expanding viable investment opportunities that directly impact on the infrastructure of the Council.
“We urge the new MD, Dangana Danjuma Jimiko, to bring a high level of innovation, transparency, and dedication to the management of the company.
“The Council expects the new leadership to; advance the company’s mandate through rigorous professional standards.
”We thank the outgoing MD for his service and wish him well in his future endeavour.
The administration will continue to make necessary personnel adjustments to ensure the delivery of the People’s Mandate.”
