The Tinubu House to House Network on Wednesday declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027 and endorsed Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan for the Yobe State governorship.
The position was made public in a press statement signed by Ezrel Tabiowo, Media Adviser to Senator Lawan.
The dual endorsement was announced at a massive rally in Nguru Local Government Area* that drew a coalition of grassroots mobilizers, elders, women, and youth groups from across Yobe’s 17 Local Government Areas. The gathering signaled an early show of political strength as the 2027 elections draw closer.
Speaking at the event, Comrade Bashir Sharif Tahir, National Secretary of the Tinubu House to House Network,* said the group is a coalition of progressive minds committed to sustaining the Renewed Hope Agenda at the federal level while ensuring “continuity of impactful leadership” in Yobe State.
Tahir noted that the network has deepened collaboration with stakeholders across all wards* to build a unified and formidable front ahead of 2027. He said Senator Lawan’s endorsement rests on his “proven track record of legislative excellence, infrastructural facilitation, and unwavering commitment to the peace and development of Yobe State.”
Political observers view the rally as a significant early indicator of Yobe’s direction* for 2027, with the Tinubu House to House Network positioning itself as a key mobilization platform for both the presidency and the Yobe governorship race.
