Leader of the Ifediche Political Family, a socio-political pressure group within the Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ezenwa A.A. Onyirimba, has reaffirmed his support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Peter Mbah in the 2027 general elections.
Dr. Onyirimba, who also aspired to contest for the Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency seat on the platform of the APC, made the declaration in a press statement made available to The Authority Newspaper on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Part of the statement read: “ I, Ezenwa A. A. Onyirimba, wish to reaffirm my unwavering support and commitment to the leadership and progressive vision of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose Renewed Hope Agenda continues to inspire confidence in the future of our great nation.
“I also restate my total support for His Excellency, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose transformational leadership, developmental strides, and people-oriented governance have continued to reposition Enugu State for sustainable growth and prosperity.
“Furthermore, I reaffirm my committed loyalty to our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). As loyal party members and stakeholders, this is a time for unity, reconciliation, and collective commitment towards strengthening our party and advancing the democratic aspirations of our people.
“In the same spirit, I heartily congratulate Engr. Ananyo Onwuegbu on his emergence as the selected candidate of our party to represent Aninri/Awgu/Oji-River Federal Constituency. His emergence reflects the confidence reposed in him by the party leadership and stakeholders.
“ I urge all party faithful, supporters, and members of the APC across the constituency to remain united, focused, and committed to the greater interest of our party and the development of our constituency. Together, we can continue to build a stronger political structure that will guarantee progress, inclusiveness, and effective representation for our people.
