Ahead the 2027 presidential election, New Nigerian Mandate has appealed to all Nigerians who are of voting age to vote right.
The administration was contained in an announcement signed by the President of the group, Chief Joe Daniels Umezulike(JP) made available to journalists over the weekend.
The statement reads. “As we approach the 2027 Presidential Election, the list of major presidential aspirants and potential candidates is gradually becoming clearer.
“This presents an opportunity for patriotic Nigerians to carefully assess those seeking the highest office in our nation and make informed decisions based on competence, integrity, vision, and commitment to national development.
“The New Nigerian Mandate remains a non-partisan movement. We are not a political party, nor are we affiliated with any political organization. Our mission is to promote responsible leadership and support a candidate, regardless of political party, who demonstrates the character, capacity, and moral responsibility required to lead the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We therefore invite all members of the movement and concerned Nigerians across the country to submit the names of their preferred presidential candidates. Your recommendations should be based on clearly defined leadership qualities, including honesty, accountability, patriotism, respect for the rule of law, economic competence, security awareness, and a genuine commitment to national unity and progress.
“Over the next one month, the New Nigerian Mandate will receive, review, and evaluate submissions from members and supporters nationwide. At the end of this consultation period, the movement will publicly announce the presidential candidate who best meets our established criteria and who we believe is most capable of moving Nigeria forward.
“We also call upon all State Coordinators, Local Government Coordinators, Ward Coordinators, and other stakeholders of the movement to remain on standby and prepare for the activation of our nationwide structures.
“The time is approaching for all patriotic Nigerians to play their part in shaping the future of our country through responsible civic engagement and peaceful democratic participation. Nigeria deserves leadership built on competence, character, accountability, and service. Together, let us work towards a better future for our nation
