The President recalled with pride Fashola’s distinguished service as his Chief of Staff between 2003 and 2006, as well as his tenure as Governor of Lagos State from 2007 to 2015.
According to Tinubu, Fashola consolidated on the gains of progressive governance through landmark reforms in infrastructure, transportation, security, education, healthcare, environmental management, and public sector administration.
“Fashola’s commitment to excellence, which helped transform Lagos into a model of innovation and sustainable urban development, will continue to define him as an outstanding governor and leader,” the President said.
