The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the commencement of physical screening and documentation for successful candidates enlisted in its ongoing recruitment exercise.
The Service said the exercise would take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, said all shortlisted candidates are expected to present themselves for the compulsory exercise on the dates allocated to their respective states and cadres.
According to the NCS, candidates are required to come with both the original and photocopies of their National Identification Number (NIN), Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, as well as relevant educational qualifications.
The required academic certificates include O’Level, National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Degree certificates and other applicable qualifications.
Other documents required for the screening include a Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a duly completed Guarantor’s Form and an NYSC Certificate, where applicable.
The Service also directed candidates to appear for the exercise dressed in white T-shirts, shorts and canvas shoes.
The NCS warned that candidates must report strictly on the dates assigned to their respective states and cadres, stressing that attendance at the physical screening and documentation exercise is compulsory.
It added that failure to appear as scheduled could result in disqualification from the recruitment process.
“Upon successful completion of the physical screening and documentation exercise, shortlisted candidates will receive further instructions from the NCS regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment process,” the statement said.
