Kano state Government has approved the promotion of 63 senior civil servants across the various grade levels in the state Civil Service.
A statement by Musa Garba, Director of Public Enlightenment of the state Civil Service Commission, indicated that the Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Uba Idris Karaye, disclosed this on Wednesday, during the 7th sitting of the Commission held at its Conference Hall.
Alhaji Uba Idris Karaye maintained that the state government had also assented the transfer of services of five officers within the system.

While calling for a continuous robust collaboration with other MDAs in the state, Alhaji Uba Idris Karaye explained that the state government has invested huge resources towards the capacity building of the state workforce.
He said Information and Communication Technology workshops and trainings organised by the Commission were part of efforts by the state government to inculcate and make the workers conversant with the digital medium of communication in the conduct of government businesses.
The Chairman of the Commission, then, expressed his appreciation to the state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his continued support and cooperation to the Commission which made it possible for it to stand out tall among its peers across the country.
